4tablespoonButter - melted
1/4cupWhite sugar
1/4cupBrown sugar
1 1/2cupPlain white flour
1/3cupCocoa powder
1/2cupMilk
1/4cupGreek yogurt
1/2teaspoonVanilla extract
1/2teaspoonBaking powder
1/2teaspoonBaking soda
1/2teaspoonGround nutmeg
Toping
2Candy canes - crushed
1cupPowdered sugar
1/2teaspoonVanilla extract
2-3tablespoonWhole milk
Instructions
Donuts
Preheat oven to 350F, grease your donut baking sheet with melted butter. Whisk together all the dry ingredients and set aside. Mix the sugars with eggs, 2 Tbps of the butter and all the other wet ingredients.
Slowly add the dried ingredients to the wet, and mix until combined. Then spoon into the doughnut tins. Bake these for 10-15min.
Icing
In a seperate bowl, add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Slowly add the milk one tablespoon at a time until smooth.
Decoration
Use a spoon to drizzle icing over the donuts, and then rain down the crushed candy canes over top.
