Chip Butty Recipe (Britain's Famous Chip Sandwich)
If you've never had a chip butty, it's one of Britain's simplest comfort foods: thick-cut chips tucked into buttered bread and served hot. This traditional chip butty recipe is messy, nostalgic, and far better than it has any right to be.

Ingredients
500goven chips (or fried if you like)
1/2cupgood quality mayo
1tablespoonhot harrisa paste
1teaspoongarlic powder
pinchsea salt
1teaspoonchopped flat leaf parsley
juice of half a lemon
8slicessoft bread
Butter
Instructions
Cook the french fries/chips based on the directions on the bag. In the meantime, combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Spread the butter on one side of the bread, top with hot chips and then a good dose of a sauce followed by another slice of bread. Devour with a cold drink.
