Make entertaining so much easier with caramelized onion bacon jam, using Harvest and Wild’s Caramelized Onion Chutney.

Quick Caramelized Onion Bacon Jam

Bacon jam is delicious, but expensive and hard to come by sometimes. This easy and quick caramalized onion bacon jam recipe will hard to beat. Great with cheese, a burger,  or even with breakfast and poached egg. 

Ingredients

Caramelised Onion Chutney, like Harvest and Wild’s Onion Chutney

Smoked bacon, chopped

Coffee

Instructions

Roughly chop bacon and cook in a saucepan until browned.

Drain bacon fat, and return pan to heat. Deglaze with coffee.

Add Caramelized Onion Chutney and cook until bacon and chutney are combined and thick. Store in fridge for up to three days.

  • 125 ml 125ml jar of Harvest and Wild Caramelized Onion Chutney
  • 200 grams Smoked bacon diced
  • 3 tablespoon Coffee

Instructions
 

  • Roughly chop bacon and cook in a saucepan until browned.
  • Drain bacon fat, and return pan to heat. Deglaze with coffee.
  • Add Caramelized Onion Chutney and cook until bacon and chutney are combined and thick. Store in fridge for up to three days.
